What is Maud’s Mail Club?
Maud’s Mail Club is a monthly subscription to receive a little art and poetry directly in your mailbox 💌
Once a month, I compose an envelope based on a work, a text, or an inspiration that feels good, that grounds, that sparks wonder, or simply makes you want to look at the things around us differently.
The idea? The pleasure of receiving, in the middle of bills and ordinary mail, a small, handmade surprise with real paper and a real stamp.
What will I receive each month?
Inside your envelope, you will find:
- a printed A6 postcard, based on one of my drawings of the month
- an artist’s book in leporello format, illustrated with my ballpoint pen drawings
- a printed handwritten letter
Everything is imagined and composed by me. The drawings and the letter are therefore prints, not originals.
Does the content change every month?
Yes! Each month is a new edition, with new drawings and a new inspiration.
Some months, I will share with you a work, a text, or a personal inspiration that has particularly touched me.
From time to time, I will also invite an artist I particularly like to share a work, a text, or something that inspires them. A short excerpt or quote may accompany their perspective and commentary.
The common thread will always remain the same: sharing things that inspire, spark wonder, soothe, or make you want to look at daily life differently. No biting criticism here — the Mail Club is a place to let yourself be inspired and give a greater place to Beauty in your daily life.
Is the Mail Club available in French and English?
Yes! You can choose to receive your Mail Club in French or in English. You just need to select the language you prefer when you subscribe.
Both versions are available everywhere: whether you live in Belgium, France, elsewhere in Europe, or internationally, you can freely choose to receive the French or English version.
Is the Mail Club mostly centered on the French-speaking world?
Yes! Maud’s Mail Club is created in Belgium by a French-speaking artist, so my inspirations naturally come a lot from the French-speaking world: literature, art, artists, texts, and works that accompany me and that I want to help others discover.
But the Mail Club is made to travel all over the world. The English version allows for sharing these discoveries beyond the French-speaking world: the texts and excerpts in French are translated into English there to make them accessible to everyone.
It is also a part of the project that is close to my heart: to make French-speaking works, artists, and inspirations travel—sometimes very well-known here and much less so elsewhere—and to allow them to be discovered from anywhere.
When will I receive my first letter?
It’s very simple: you subscribe one month and you receive your first envelope the following month.
If you sign up in October, you will receive the November edition. If you sign up in November, you will receive the December one, and so on.
After that, you don't have to do anything else: your subscription continues automatically every month until you decide to stop it. And you can cancel whenever you want.
When are the letters sent?
I prepare and send the envelopes from Belgium in the first 2 to 3 days of each month.
How long does it take to receive my letter?
From the time of shipping, generally count
- Belgium and France: one week
- Europe: about 10 days
- International: about two good weeks
Since the Mail Club travels by standard postal mail, these times remain indicative, and it may sometimes be necessary to wait a few more days…
Can I track my envelope?
No. The Mail Club is sent like a real letter, by standard postal mail and without a tracking number. This allows me to keep the price accessible.
How much does the subscription cost?
The subscription is:
- €10 per month for Belgium
- €12 per month for Europe and international
And good news: shipping costs are already included in the price, wherever your envelope is sent.
When am I charged?
You are charged the day you subscribe, then on this same date each month.
For example, if you subscribe on October 15, you will be charged on October 15 and you will receive the November edition. Your next payment will take place on November 15 for the December edition, and so on.
Can I cancel my subscription whenever I want?
Yes, you can stop your subscription whenever you wish, with no commitment.
You just need to unsubscribe before your next payment date so as not to receive the following edition.
If you unsubscribe after having been charged, you will still receive the edition you have already paid for, then your subscription will simply end.
I am moving or I made a mistake in my address, what should I do?
You can change your delivery address as well as your payment information from your subscription area.
If you notice an error just before a shipment, contact me quickly. As long as your envelope has not left, I will do my best to correct the address. (mauddrawspro@gmail.com)
And if my letter doesn't arrive?
The envelopes travel by standard postal mail and without tracking, so a small delay can sometimes happen.
If the usual time is largely exceeded and your letter is still not there, contact me and we will see together what happened.
My letter arrived damaged.
It happens. No problem. Send me photos of the damaged mail by email and I will resend you another one!
Can I buy an old edition?
Yes! Some old editions will be available separately in the Past Editions section, while stocks last.
You will thus be able to discover an edition that you missed without having to subscribe.
Can I gift Maud’s Mail Club?
Yes, with pleasure! Just indicate the address of the person you wish to send the Mail Club to as the delivery address.
It is a way to send a small artistic surprise directly to their mailbox every month.
